Retail Warehouse Park* Bremen, operated by Dirk Iserlohe

„The kind of traditional shopping area where everyone knows one another."

(A Bremen housewife)

Our housewife is absolutely right: the new Combi Retail Warehouse Park on Kattenturmer Heerstrasse in the south of Bremen is a highly popular shopping location. Occupying the site of the former Famila-Markt, the project was developed in partnership with the Bünting-Gruppe, a former tenant that has returned to the refurbished premises. A Combi discount store, with in-house bakery, tobacconist and flower shop, serves as the magnet for other tenants: the chemist Müller, the clothing retailer NKD, as well as a hair salon. Retail warehouse centres are the new trend in retailing. While analysts are sceptical about the future expansion of shopping centres, they are forecasting a boom in retail warehouse parks.
